Director

Ministry of Health, MOH

I am the Director of the Indigenous, French Language and Priority Populations Branch in the Ministry of Health, where my team and I work with internal and external partners to embed a health equity lens across key policy and program priorities.

Prior to this I held progressive roles in a range of areas at the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, including Director of the Social Assistance Strategic Policy Branch, Manager of Service System Transformation, Manager of Business Change and Program Evaluation, Senior Policy Advisor to the Deputy Minister, and Senior Policy Analyst. I have also worked in non-profit settings in the education sector. A common feature of all my roles has been a focus on work related to equity-deserving populations. In the same vein, I am also passionate about volunteerism and I serve my community in various capacities.

My identity and experiences as a Black immigrant woman who is a Jamaican-Canadian, have greatly informed my personal and leadership values, both of which are grounded in the advancement of equity.
